Where to save Zoom recording data and how to share it

Download videos from Zoom’s cloud

Only computers and iPads can download videos from the Zoom cloud.

When you can’t download videos
Reasons for not being able to download videos include the settings of the owner of the video, and the PC or network environment on the downloading side.
Downloads are prohibited in the settings
Zoom’s cloud has settings to allow or prevent downloading of items stored in the cloud.
If you can’t download the video, your Zoom account administrator may have blocked the download.
The method for checking and changing the settings is as follows.
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal (https://zoom.us/) with an administrator account.
- Select “Recording” under “Account Settings“.
- Check the Download Cloud Recordings setting. Downloads are prohibited when the switch is off.
Permission not set
When downloading from the cloud, the message “You do not have access rights” may be displayed even if you access the URL, or the video file may not be found.
In order to prevent unauthorized access when sharing data from various clouds with others, access rights may be granted individually by specifying accounts that can be accessed.
If you have shared a Zoom video but cannot access it, check with the host.
Storage full
If there is not enough free space on the computer, the file cannot be downloaded.

In order to avoid the risk that the amount of communication has increased without noticing it, there are cases where the upper limit of the amount of communication is set on the computer.
When the upper limit of communication volume is set for metered connection, the communication volume is measured when the PC is connected to the metered network, and the communication volume is automatically limited when the set value is exceeded. How it works.
During the restriction, only high-priority updates such as important OS updates are updated, and other files may not be downloaded.
If you cancel the setting, you will be able to download, so if you absolutely need to download, you can temporarily cancel the setting.
