What is au HIKARI DENWA call forwarding service?
au Hikari Denwa is a telephone service that uses KDDI’s content delivery network (CDN). You can continue to use the phone number and phone you normally use.
“Call forwarding service” is a service that connects the call to a forwarding destination set in advance when an incoming call is received on the line subscribed to by au Hikari Denwa .
You can use the following three functions depending on the application.
- unconditional transfer
- schedule transfer
- Busy transfer

unconditional transfer
Unconditional forwarding of au HIKARI DENWA is a function that forwards incoming calls to a mobile phone number set in advance as a forwarding destination without ringing the forwarding phone .
schedule transfer
When using schedule forwarding, this function forwards incoming calls to a mobile phone number that has been set in advance as a forwarding destination only within the set conditions (month, day, day of the week, time).
This function is recommended for those who usually plan to go out at a fixed time or day of the week, or for companies that implement telework.
Busy transfer
Busy Call Forwarding is a function that forwards incoming calls to a phone number, such as a mobile phone, that has been set as a forwarding destination in advance when the contracted line that is the forwarding source is busy .
While you are on a call, you can answer incoming calls on another device.
Usage charges and call charges when transferring au Hikari phones

How to set up the service
There are two ways to set up : from your phone or from My au .
Here, we will introduce the setting method from the phone. Please check the setting method from My au after logging in to My au.
How to start using the service
STEP1. Dial method
Dial “142” when making settings from a home-plus phone or au Hikari phone contract line.
When making settings from a phone other than Homeplus Phone or au Hikari Phone, dial “050-3116-0142” and then dial the contracted phone number and PIN.
STEP2. Register forwarding number
Register the forwarding phone number in the forwarding destination list. You can set up to 4 forwarding phone numbers.
- Dial “4”
- Dial “0”
- Dial any list number from “1” to “4” *Dial any list number you want to set for forwarding.
- Dial “forwarding number +#”
- Dial “0”
- Completion of registration
STEP3. Select forwarding destination list
After completing the registration, enter “0 to stop forwarding, 1 to start unconditional forwarding, 2 to start scheduled forwarding, 3 to start busy forwarding, 4 to make various settings, 8 to confirm the settings, and finish the operation. If so, please dial 9.” is heard.
After that, please select the list according to the following flow.
- Dial “4”
- Dial ‘1’
- Dial any list number from “1” to “4” that has a forwarding number

STEP4. Start transfer and complete settings
After selecting the list, click “0 to stop transfer, 1 to start unconditional transfer, 2 to start scheduled transfer, 3 to start busy transfer, 4 to set various settings, 8 to confirm settings, and end the operation. If you want to do so, dial 9.” is played.
After that, start the transfer according to the flow below and complete the settings.
