VoiceWarp® is a trademark of the automatic call forwarding service for NTT East/NTT West’s landline and Hikari Denwa.

With the rapid progress of telework, the “telephone forwarding service” that forwards incoming calls to the company’s landline phone to another designated line is becoming popular.

This time, we will introduce the telephone numbers of telephone transfer service application/inquiry desks of representative communication carriers such as NTT (East Japan/West Japan), Softbank, Docomo Hikari, and au.

If you want to introduce a call forwarding service or are having trouble finding the application method or contact number, please refer to it.

What is a call forwarding service?

A call forwarding service is a service that forwards incoming calls to a company or office landline to a designated line. Some services provided by telecommunications carriers allow you to set multiple forwarding numbers.

Recently, due to the promotion of telework due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection, the number of companies that have introduced call forwarding services is increasing. In most cases, employees’ mobile phones are registered as forwarding destinations.

Even under telework, if the employee’s mobile phone number is registered as a forwarding destination, the employee can directly call from home without going through the company, so the employee’s phone number can be used as the phone number. No one will have to go to work.

There is also a service in which AI transfers calls directly to the person in charge based on the name provided by the caller. Finally, we will introduce this service.

[By carrier] Transfer service application reception/inquiry phone number

Call forwarding service is applied to the carrier with which the forwarding number is contracted. First, check with which carrier you have a contract with the landline phone number that you want to forward calls to.

Also, if you don’t know the carrier you have a contract with, dial “116” from a landline phone and you will be connected to the consultation desk of the carrier you have a contract with. If you want to know the carrier you have a contract with, call “116” from the landline you want to forward the call to and check the details of the contract there.

Below is a list of representative communication carriers such as NTT (East Japan/West Japan), Softbank, Docomo Hikari, and au, and services by carrier.

Softbank Multifunctional forwarding service

Prior application is required for both carriers to use the service. Even if you want to start using the service immediately, please be aware that some carriers require several days from application to start using the service.

NTT (East Japan/West Japan), Softbank, docomo Hikari, and au service application reception numbers and customer center phone numbers are as follows.

NTT East/West automatic call forwarding service “Voice Warp”

The automatic call forwarding service “Voice Warp” provided by NTT (East Japan/West Japan) is a service that forwards incoming calls to a preset phone number.

It is possible to set unconditional forwarding, which transfers the call immediately without ringing the forwarding phone, and no-answer forwarding, which calls the forwarding phone once and forwards the call only when there is no answer.

For example, if you have a specific employee who will answer the phone, we recommend that you set the settings according to your company’s work style, such as selecting forwarding when no answer is received.

You can also start/stop forwarding and change the forwarding destination by operating from a phone other than the contracted line. Remote control can also be performed from a mobile phone, but the access numbers for doing so vary by prefecture, so they are not listed in this article. Please check the access number on your mobile phone from the automatic call forwarding service “Voice Warp” HP.

The number of the inquiry source and the number of the service application counter/customer center is as follows.

Softbank “Multi-Function Forwarding Service”

SoftBank’s multi-function forwarding service is a service that forwards incoming calls to another specified number.

Call charges for forwarding calls will be charged to the forwarding party.

To start using the service, the subscriber must make forwarding settings from the telephone of the contracted line.

In addition to contracted telephone lines, you can also use remote control to start, cancel, and change services from lines other than contracted lines.

This multi-function forwarding service can also be set up remotely from a mobile phone, but the access numbers for doing so differ by prefecture, so they are not described in this article. Please check the access number for mobile phones from the SoftBank website.

Docomo Hikari “Call Forwarding”

Docomo Hikari Denwa’s “Call Forwarding” is a service that allows you to forward incoming calls to a landline phone to a pre-specified number of another line.

To use this service, a contract and settings for each docomo Hikari contract phone number and additional numbers are required.

Also, customer control and remote control must be performed from the dedicated number provided by NTT East/NTT West.

This service can also be set to start/stop forwarding and change the forwarding destination by remote control from a mobile phone, but the access numbers for doing so differ by prefecture, so they are not described in this article. Please check the “docomo Hikari Denwa Usage Guide” for the access number for your mobile phone.

Depending on the application, you can use three functions: unconditional forwarding, scheduled forwarding, and busy forwarding. Note that detailed settings for schedule forwarding cannot be made on the phone. Settings must be made from My au.

This service can also be set by remote control from a mobile phone. The remote control function dials to “050-3116-0142” or “03-6677-0142”.

Canario can apply online

NEC Networks & System Integration, which supervises this article, also offers a call forwarding service.

NEC Networks & System Integration’s “Canario” is a service that allows you to receive calls from anywhere in the office. I would recommend this to any company facing these issues.

  • Employees come to work just to answer the phone
  • I want to provide an environment where I can work regardless of location, but I want to keep capital investment down
  • I want to pursue an efficient way of working to increase productivity

With Canario, AI can transfer calls directly to the person in charge based on the name given by the caller.

Since intermediation and transfer are performed automatically, the person in charge can directly pick up the call to himself even if he is not in the office, without someone picking up the phone and intermediary.

In addition, Canario can feel free to apply and make inquiries from the “Inquiry” form displayed in the link below.

Even if you are considering introducing a service, we are also available to discuss plan settings and fees. Please feel free to contact us.

Be careful not to enter the wrong number!

This time, we introduced the telephone numbers of the telephone transfer service application/inquiry counters of representative communication carriers such as NTT (East Japan/West Japan), Softbank, Docomo Hikari, and au. Please pay attention to the contents of the wrong number.

You can also apply online for the call forwarding service “Canario” provided by NEC Networks & System Integration.

Based on the name provided by the caller, AI can directly transfer the call to the person in charge, eliminating the need to relay the call, which is expected to improve work efficiency.

In addition, NEC Networks & System Integration Co., Ltd. also accepts consultations regarding plan settings and fees for “Canario.” Please feel free to contact us.
