VoiceWarp® is a trademark of the automatic call forwarding service for NTT East/NTT West’s landline and Hikari Denwa.
The number of companies that recommend telework has increased, and many people have decreased the number of people who come to work.
Telephone work is a problem under such telework.
When an incoming call from a customer or business partner arrives at the company, the person who works at the company as the phone number must pick up the phone and then relay it to the employee in charge via an outside line.
People who come to the office just to answer the phone as a phone number are troublesome for the person in charge during telework, and above all, there is a possibility that customers and business partners will feel uncomfortable because there is a time lag in the agency.
In such a case, the recommended function is the “call forwarding service”.
You can take calls received at the company on mobile phones such as iPhones, smartphones, and home landlines .
With this call forwarding service, you can handle calls smoothly even when you are at home or on the go.
This time, we will introduce how to apply and set up the call forwarding service.
Please use the call forwarding service for telework telework.
“Call forwarding service” setting flow
“Call forwarding service” is a service that forwards incoming calls to a fixed-line or mobile phone to a pre-specified “forwarding destination” number.
You can forward incoming calls on your office landline to a different phone (iPhone, smartphone, other mobile phone, etc.) that you have specified in advance.
The procedure for setting forwarding is as follows.
- Check which carrier the forwarding number is subscribed to
- Apply for the service to the carrier with which you have a number contract
- Set up the service when you are ready to start using it
I will explain each one.
Check which carrier the forwarding number is subscribed to
Since the call forwarding service is applied for with the carrier with which the forwarding number is contracted, it is necessary to first confirm with which carrier the number is contracted.
Typical carriers such as NTT, Docomo, Softbank, and KDDI and services by carrier are as follows.
career | service |
---|---|
NTT East/West | Automatic call forwarding service “Voice Warp” |
Softbank | Multifunctional forwarding service |
KDDI Hikari Direct (au) | call forwarding service |
Prior application is required for all carriers to use the call forwarding service.
Even if you want to use the service immediately, please be aware that there are carriers that take time or days to start using the service after applying .
If you don’t know the carrier you have a contract with, dial “116” from a landline phone and you will be connected to the consultation desk of the carrier you have a contract with, so please check the details of the contract there.
Apply for the service to the carrier with which you have a number contract
Once you know the carrier, apply for the forwarding service with the contracted number.
There are also carriers that allow you to apply for the service at the “116” I mentioned above .
Please apply from the inquiry window below.
career | Application at 116 | Application phone number |
---|---|---|
NTT East/West | 〇 (general reception counter) | ー |
